我的疑问是：recent 和recently这两个词中为什么选了recent,而不是recently呢？
如果用recent就是修饰的名词sales slumped,如果用recently就是修饰的extended,感觉上是都可以的呀。这里应该怎么区分呢？

句子的意思为 最近extended sales slump是表达的extended这个动作
因为最近发生的并不是sales slump，而是最近发生的extended

所有决定最后选项的都是meaning
