1. traditional marketing doesn't need a master. tradition marketing wont die, but culture and language are super important for that side. Locals dominate the game.
2. Agree with language issue. Everything will be fine for those with native language + from target school.
3. Most MFE are way more quantitative, and more finance focus than BA master. BA is definitely in disadvantage for a risk analytic technical role. If a FI want to hire someone to do some financial market stuffs with big data / machine learning, most likely the job with go to something data science, macheine learning from the CS department instead of business analytics (or financial engineering). Business analytics is not up to this level.
4. The reason why case like "BA --> data scientist" still exist is not because of the business analytics master at all. It is all about the background the student had before the master.
