广院的硕啊。只要考出足够好的G（至少720+），目测应该有录取。前面的，都不是太大的问题。宝马足够给你全面背书了。不过，鉴于未来的不可控性，建议延后一年，等成绩都拿到了再申请。1月份申，不仅仅是轮次可能偏后，对你来说，准备时间也太仓促了。

1. 1月份申请基本就是R2了，申请当然是越早越好，不过也没有太大影响，每年其实有60%的同学是在R2申请。总之，什么时候READY，什么时候申请。

2. 本科第一专业GPA确实是硬伤，不过已是既定事实，LZ不用过分纠结。可以多提第二专业，& 考一个高的GMAT来弥补，说明不是IQ不行，并在ESSAY或是别的合适情况下加以说明就好。AO主要还是看你现在，看你career path。

3. 这几个学校都非常好，LZ首先要码好自己background，突出亮点，和很清晰的career goal。冲一冲，还是有希望的。

4. GMAT分自然是越高越好，在中国申请人里，录取的均分已经到了730-740。楼主还需弥补GPA，所以尽量高吧，加油~

5. 每个学校的ESSAY question都不一样，尽量突出自己不同方面的特质（根据学校对申请人的偏好来分清侧重点），不用让AO觉得你很单一，没什么特点。还有就是，尽量用例子和数据说话，少用概括性的语言，让AO自己去描绘你的uniqueness.

加油加油。我也是很担心本科GPA被弄，唉。不过毕竟年代久远了，楼主的工作经验能cover了。

1. I can only apply for the Round with the deadline in January. Will it be a big influence to my application?

January is round 2. Round two has more or less the same chances as round 1. So you should be okay!!

2. My disadvantage: the GPA of the first major in Undergrad. Interdisciplinary (non business background), success rate?

Hello there. It’s not a question of success rate It’s more of a question of WHERE you can and should apply. For Top 10 schools it will make things difficult, as the average GPA is around 3.5-3.7.


3. Dream school Kellogg. This is a school good at Marketing and management. I will also apply for Wharton, Yale and Duke. My career direction may be consulting and corporate.

Kellogg is great for you because of Marketing. Right ow it is hard to evaluate your entire profile because I need more info. Especially about your work experience. However, with a GPA of less than 3, even with a 740+ GMAT Top 10 schools will be “long shots”


4. For GMAT, do I have to get 750?

You have to get the best score you can. For Top schools a 730+ is good.

5. According to my condition, which aspects should I care about for my essays.

Everything. Making them original, passionate, logical and well written!

kind of sad after finishing it. haha.
about the GPA, i have more to say. does the AO only review GPA in Bachelor first degree? since i have good GPA in second degree and a great one in master degree. my second bachelor degree, my master degree and my career are highly consistent. couldn't it express my commitment: find something really love and commit to it. my first major was decided by my parents...(Chinese family thing)...looking forward to your suggestion.  kellogg, Yale, Duke and Tuck are my targets....
