Title: Full-Time ResearchAssistant
Report to: Professor Jae Yun Kim Business School,SUSTech (Southern University of Science and Technology)
Location: 1088 Xueyuan Avenue,Nanshan District, Shenzhen 518055, China
Job Responsibilities: *Assist research projects on topics including popular ideas about self-improvement (e.g., empowerment messages, advice to pursue one’s passion), attitudes toward technologies (e.g.,AI, robotics), particularly in relation to the automation of jobs, and organizational and social justice *Develop and manage project timelines; manage multiple projects simultaneously *Manage data collection through online platforms, as well as in-person lab and the field *Cleaning, merging, and preparing datasets for analysis *Conduct background research and literature reviews *Assist teaching material development for business and management courses
Job Requirements: *Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, business, management, statistics, other social sciences, and/or related fields *Interest in pursuing PhD in OB/HR, consumer behavior, or social/personality psychology *Interest in conducting research in line with the faculty member’s work *Familiarity with experimental methods, and multivariate and multilevel statistics *Familiarity with using software packages (SPSS, STATA, R, SAS, and/or Mplus) for quantitative analysis *Enthusiasm for learning new skills quickly on the job *Experience in writing papers and reports, and presenting in English *Ability to support faculty member in teaching and administration duties *Mature, responsible, organized, detail-oriented, committed to high quality work, able to multi-task and work independently *Full-time position should be able to commit for 2 to 3 years
Compensation package: 8000RMB/month + pension plan（五险一金）+ on campus housing benefit. This position would be an excellent fit for someone looking to strengthen research skills before applying to PhD programs.
