学渣求econ/finance/om phd定位

本人211财经小本，目前在cuhksz某专业研一。本科没什么规划，GPA很一般 85/100，也没什么科研，最近读研才觉得还是想读一个phd。但是我有个最大的问题是大一大二的时候天天瞎玩，数学成绩都很低，高数线代概率都是六七十分。后来修了数分1，86分；高等代数也是八九十分，概率没来得及修，不过现在研究生的课有stochastic models，optimization之类的课程不知道能不能弥补一下。雅思的话现在有个7分的成绩，不过写作小分有点低，还是准备再刷一下

写了一堆感觉我这样是不是已经无望了……

advance mathematics course (e.g. those you mentioned) will be useful for phd application (for relevant fields)

and you cant change your grade in year 1 2 anyway......so just live with it.

Thanks a lot!

But those two courses and dynamic programming are the only advanced (math) courses in my program. I'm thinking about taking advanced micro and advanced monetary economics next semester.

Maybe in the following semesters I can choose some courses in statistics like applied regression analysis，multivariate statistical methods and intro to bayesian stasictics, will that be helpful?

yes.

in additional to maths course, get a good thesis, and a good reference letter from professors (or possibly via research assistant)
