【求助】prep08 SC 212 more than句型和as likely as可以互换吗

这题从语法角度分析，很好排除别的选项错误。
BUT，从句意的角度，我就犹豫了：

在A选项的原句里，more likely than不是明确表明一方比另一方更有可能plan to practice吗

但是正确答案的C，变成了比较双方as likely as，那不就是说两者几乎旗鼓相当了吗？——这样难道不算改变了句意？
在我看来，句意就表态了两者一大一小，但是正确选项却说两者可能性一样。

所以我的疑问是：这题莫非证明了解题时，语法优先于句意？还是我对句意理解有偏差？

至于语法优先不优先，我个人看吧，具体问题具体分析，如果你准确的把握了逻辑含义，语法都是小道。
反之，语法是你用来衡量，测算了一个工具，但不代表所以，比较G出题有很多是语法正确，逻辑扭曲的句子，也是错误的。

nearly 是副词，four times这里应该是形容词。所以adv+adj+n是没有修歧义。
如果是adj+adj+n才会感觉歧义呢

我不明白的是than可以跟as。。as互换？？感觉意思有区别呀

我现在就是拿不准自己对原句句意的理解了……我以为原句告诉我的是minority students比另外一类人是多四倍的

但是正确答案是等于他的四倍呀

nearly four times 没有问题，但是   后面没有noun 后面是more likely than
这一串词去形容一个noun不会头重脚轻么~

关于倍数+more than VS 倍数+as...as，曼哈顿上有相应的讨论，一般来说，像这道题，原句想表达的意思是4倍而不是5倍，如果它想表达的是5倍，就不会用大4倍这样带有歧义的说法；就像你的感觉一样，原句的表示方式让人不清楚到底是4倍还是5倍，从而ambiguous,而正确答案明确表达出4倍的含义

真巧，我今天也是在看比较这块
我的想法首先多就是多，少就是少
一样就是一样
没有那种nearly 多 。nearly少这是语义问题。

再次A这个对比是不对等的。
前面是MG are are nearly four times morelikely than
后面是一个句子
are  other graduates in planning to practice insocioeconomically deprived areas
如果说这个are是plan的系动，那把它放回去成了are in planing to practice，我们思考一下正常造句有这种句子么、？
再看C,对比的双方很整齐，MG 和OG之间的对比而不是一个NOUN和一个句子在对比。
