我选的是A选项，同时认为E选项的outnumber时态变成过去式的话更好。OG给的解释说A选项outnumberining用的不好，我体会不到。请大侠们给出更详细的解释，谢谢！

A，E项其实在语法上都米有错
但是首先，分词在句末有可能修饰主语，整个句子或者宾语等等，容易造成意思模糊
其次，从整个句子的强调中心来看，它主要是为了强调信的数量问题，outnumber应当作为谓语

A选项中的outnumbering修饰不清，因为前面既有动词were written,又有分词beginning和ending，而且时间状语也不相同
