书里说不能改成suspect，意思有差异；

请问差别在哪里？

我感觉这个解释有点意思。。。

SUSPECT:to have an idea that sth is probably true or likely to happen, especially sth bad, but without having definite proof
               有这样的想法，一些事情，特别会不好的事情，是真的或者可能发生，但是没有确切是证据
SUSPICIOUS：1·~ (of / about sb/sth) feeling that sb has done sth wrong, illegal or dishonest, without having any proof
                        感觉某人干了错事、违法的或者不诚实的事，但也没有证据
                      2·~ (of sb/sth) not willing or able to trust sb/sth
                          不愿或不能相信一些事或人

例子中的suspicious应该是第2个意思，而suspect没有相应意思的用法，所以不能替换。

楼主这个确实是意思问题没错，看你如何理解出题人的意思。

出题人是想说，那位大家很怀疑这个deal（这里的怀疑，用中文讲我不知道如何表达到位，就是说人家觉得这是奸诈），但是Colin同学还是买了。所以他说只能是suspecious of..因为这个deal很fishy,很像是骗人的，如果你要把这句话加完整就是。

你理解的意思是，因为大家很怀疑这个deal(你理解的suspect是，是不是这个deal有问题），而和上面的微妙区别就是，上面人家是觉得是骗人的，人家已经对这个deal起了疑心，而你只是suspect有没有问题。

而且这个你改的suspect such offers,意思上有问题。很少有人这么说，除非说suspect such offers怎样怎样，不能光suspect这个offer,以为你要怀疑他什么呢？什么要讲清楚，就像你说，I suspect him,肯定不对，你肯定要讲清楚I suspect that he is the killer. 这样才完整，所以不能说suspect such offers,虽然在中文上可以解释。而你说的3的用法是不对的用在这里，因为3用法是关于crimes的，你的句子里明显不是crimes.

我不知道这个细微的差别，在意思上你能体会到吗？你多读几遍试看看，仔细去体会啊，不要用中文去思考哈。
