旧PREP一题关于AS WLL AS结构,,救命呀

答案A,我选了B,,,,不是说XXXXX AS WELL AS XXXX要平行吗,,,,,前面明明是是BURN 怎么后面变成EMITTING了,,,火啊,,,,,求教!! 救命!!!

as well as跟and不一样 是不需要结构平行对称的, 更多情况下as well as表达进一步补充说明的感觉A选项中,as well as+doing这个doing是对前面burn的补充说明。这个用法让我想起来v-ing分词在句末的用法:修饰整个句子表示伴随结构;修饰谓语动词。其中有一条就是和修饰谓语,可是看作是在发生burn的同时发生emitting。我个人是把这个doing当做这个用法的。

在B选项中,having的用法不简洁,这是排除它错误的原因。如果B中as well as换成and 也不太合适,因为如果同一个主语并列2个谓语动词,and前面不需要有逗号隔离

我查了下longman,
as well as : in addition to something else; e.g They own a house in Provence as well as a villa in Spain
as well as doing sth: The organization encourages members to meet on a regular basis, as well as providing them with financial support

mahattan 里把as well as 理解成介词




B 选项主要是having 不能做定语修饰名词
