两个题

这两个题目都是in addition to A, B +verb + objective的结构
且MAHATTAN比较的最后一章节 说In addition to 是特例，A、B可以不对应
那为什么第二题不能选A？

结合老帖子，自己理解了一下
in addition to doing sth, sb/sth .....         因为doing和主句存在直接的逻辑关系，所以doing sth的逻辑主语应该为主句的主语，所以这里必须要保持一致
in addition to n......, sb/sth     如曼哈顿所说，n可以做为替代主句中任何一个名词（包括主语），这里这个n和主句其实没有逻辑关系，看作一个挂在外面的替代就可以了。所以他不用与主句的主语保持逻辑一致。

这是曼哈顿说的。我也没有掌握这个习语，但是从句子的含义理解这几个题都做对了，最好能多收集几个in addtion to的题，培养感觉。

(3) In addition to， 通常放在句首，表示另外的一个例子。
IN ADDITION TO taxes, death is inevitable. (同类)
IN ADDITION TO Munster cheese, I like Swiss. (不同类事物)

考虑平行关系我会选带has的选项，考虑逻辑关系选可以对protein有所有格的主语；这里是比较什么结构我就不知道了？

平行关系，同类项；这里是比较主语

Right2#: In addition to Munster cheese, i like swiss.
平行关系；不过和Right1相比这里比较的是宾语

但是MAHATTAN SC 5th edition p.262列了两个In addition to 正确的形式
Right 1#: In addition to taxes, death is inevitable  ====In addition to sth, sth xxxx.
Right 2#: In addition to Munster cheese, i like swiss.====In addition to sth, sb xxx.

所以我不知道in addition to 这个用法的规则是什么。
如果是要对应，那么为什么又举了2#这个例子

我的理解

1. In addition to (要求主句起头的成分和her work 平行) her work on the Miocene hominid fossil record, Mary Leakey's contributions (contribution就平行了，如果是人就不平行) to archaeology include her discovery of the earliest directevidence of hominid activity and her painstaking documentation of EastAfrican cave paintings.


2. In addition to (having本身表示一个拥有，那么主句主语应该是可以拥有状态的实体，而不是被拥有的实体) having more protein than wheat does, the protein in rice is (因为前面的结构有having，这里用has比较合适，比is更平行) higher quality than that in  wheat, with more of the amino acids essential to the humandiet.

(A) the protein in rice is higher quality 注意如果这里是对比wheat，那么protein不能is quality，蛋白质不是质量，只能说has higher quality than that in  错误，protein自己不能拥有protein；另外如果不是对比wheat，那么就是is higher quality wheat，protein is wheat错误

(B) rice has protein of higher quality than that in 正确，rice才是能拥有protein的

(C) the protein in rice is higher in quality than it is in 主语错误，应该是rice

(D) rice protein is higher in quality than it is in 主语错误，还是protein，还变成了rice protein；那么后面it指代rice protein，变成than rice protein in wheat错误

(E) rice has a protein higher in quality than a protein第一次见到，错误；这里rice has protein of higher in quality than 应该接 that in wheat吧
