❤定位帖❤一些学校拿不准申还是不申，想多了解了解~

好一阵不上CD，看见很多定位帖吓了一跳  之前lz发的定位帖没有人理我，就想再来问一下~
希望大家多多讨论~

惯例，先报BG：
学校是北京某211本科，金融专业
数学课程就是标准的金融专业会学的那些，分数都很好，学过一门C++
绩点近90/100，T107（23），GRE320（V152Q168)
实习是一个证券一个PE，没有研究经历，有美国交流一个学期

已经定下来的学校有：罗村，JHU，wustl
基本定下来的学校有：UTA，Tulane
其他还在犹豫中：Case（申请难度如何？文书很难？），Fordham（不知道是申QF还是GF，GF据说很水不想去读），Brandeis MA（据说喜欢有交流经历的学生？所以想要试一下，但是毕竟要学两年，有点犹豫），PPD（太贵？）， GWU（看到很多人还是要申，大家都不在乎那个scandal吗。。但其实确实是个不错的学校来着）
然后波士顿系列的：BU，NEU
然后是一些了解到信息很少的学校，希望能有大神来补充：OSU，Lehigh（因为是Analytical F，所以不确定申不申）
然后是大众情人系列：雪城，马里兰，普渡（普渡是不是比前两个好一点？）
另外这三所是确定要有工作经验吧：UIUC, BC，Brandeis MSF （还有没有其他要工作经验的？让lz速速排之。。。）

希望能够给出意见，排除一些不太合适的学校以免浪费精力（基本定下来的学校也可以拉出list如果被认为很难申到的话~）先谢过~

非常感谢！特别是关于BU和NEU的情况~~
vandy已经放弃了。。。wustl（wash u是指wustl吧）反正我也已经提交申请了，已经做好被拒的打算啦~
GRE的确硬伤。。。不过复习GRE的时候总是状态不好难以集中（自己都很知道状态不行）而且总是有很多其他事情搅和进来 T  T

If you like Boston, BU, NEU, and Brandeis aresolid options for you. BC requires some work experience, but their MSF program is excellent. There are a lot of job opportunities in Boston, but for finance, there are even more opportunities in NYC. Just a heads up! Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks a lot! Before seeing your answer, I lost hope on schools like Rochester, WUSTL and Vandy based on other answers...
You did not mention Maryland, Syracuse, NEU and Purdue. What about these schools?
Yeah I'm applying now.
For location, I like Boston a lot, so I'm interested in BU and NEU.

Hi there, and thanks so much for your question! Let me begin by saying that you have a good background, including strong academic records and solid internship experience. If you are thinking of applying for admission in the fall of 2014, you need to hurry up because many schools have deadlines approaching. With your background, I believe you’ve got a good chance at schools like Rochester, JHU, WUSTL, and Vanderbilt. Other programs that are also in your range would be Case, Tulane, Fordham QF, BU, and OSU. UIUC and BC require work experience,so admission to either of those would be difficult. I’d suggest that you prioritize schools with good locations like NYC, Boston, and other major cities. Being in a great location will help you find internships and a job once you graduate. Hope this helps!
