1.    Q: how is the current batch of studentswith doing with respect to the jobs obtained/internships , when do theygraduate ?

A: If you are speaking about ourfull-time students, they graduated about a month ago and we have not made theplacement data public yet and will not until the end of August.

However, I was able to gather some non-official information from one ofour students who just graduated. In a recent post Allison Kooser wrote:

“My name is Allison Kooser and I graduated with the Class of 2012 a fewweeks ago. You are correct in that there will not be "official" statsuntil the end of summer--business schools allow students 3 months aftergraduating to find jobs that will count in the statistics.  

To give you an ideaof some of the jobs/companies/placements we do have: Acumen Fund, BlackRock,Groupon, CCS, CENTERSTAGE, EA (Electronic Arts), Cigna, Caesar's Entertainment,Merkle, Uniqlo, Evernote, Amazon, Verizon, ESAB, JHMI, PayPal, WorldBank/IFC,Mediterranean Shipping Company, and Blackbird, among others.

2.    Q: How does the"Discovery to Market Project" concept distinguishes the Carey'sGlobal MBA from other Dual degree MBA/MS programs offered by some universities?

WellI think first, for everybody else, we should define what the D2M project isexactly.  

A: Discovery to Market is acourse taken by our Global MBA students which basically builds a bridge betweenbusiness and science. I think it is no secret that science related learning isa huge strength at JHU and we wanted to give our students the opportunity towork with real scientist on real projects that are coming to market in the nearfuture. 3.    Q: What does your team consider in theadmissions process?

A: Of course, the golden question! I amvery proud to say we review the complete application. I read every essay andevery letter of recommendation that comes across my desk. Essentially we arelooking for a good student that is a good fit for our program, however, with that being said the averageGMAT of the school is about 670 and the average GPA is a 3.3 and the averageamount of work exp is 4 years.
