在OG中找到了一个关于nothing like的地方，觉得有点不懂。遂查了一下网上关于nothing like的用法。现贴如下：
“没有像……的事或东西”，这是词面意思。

       1）I am told that you have some trouble with your girl friend. —— No, nothing like that.

             我听说你与女朋友有了麻烦?  —— 不，没有那么回事。

       2）Nothing like this has ever been encountered before.

             这样的事以前还从没遇到过呢。

       3）There is no friendship in them, no particular interest, nothing like sentiment.

             他们之间没有友谊，也没有特别的兴趣和感情之类的东西

       4）There is nothing like this in ancient Chinese sculpture because of different social

              attitudes.

              由于社会观念不同，在中国古代雕塑中像这样的作品是根本不可能有的。

      5）Nothing like enough was done to improve the working conditions.

         　在改善工作条件方面所做的事还差得远呢。



●  “丝毫不像”、“一点不像”，用于系动词之后，表示强烈否定。

      1）She looks nothing like her elder sister.

             她一点也不像她姐姐。

      2）The whole thing is nothing like what he related to us.

            整件事情更本不像他跟我们讲述的那样。

      3）Shen's method of teaching is nothing like that of the teachers at my Junior High School.

            沈老师的教学方法与初中老师的完全不同。

      4）Marriage is nothing like a wedding.

            婚姻跟婚礼完全是两回事。

      5）He found that his hometown was nothing like what it was when he was a small boy.

            他发现他的家乡跟他小时候完全不一样了。



● “没有什么能比得上……”、“ 没有比……更……的”， 多用于 there is nothing like ......

       句式中，表示否定比较概念。

 

      1）There is nothing like a hot bath when you are worn out after a busy day.  

             经过忙忙碌碌一天已疲惫不堪，没有什么比能得上洗个一个热水澡了。

      2）There's nothing like wool for keeping you warm.

            就保暖而言，没有东西比得上羊毛。

      3）There's nothing like seeing things with one's own eyes.

            再没有比自己亲自去看看更好的了。

      4）In my opinion, in summer there is nothing like swimming as a means of keeping fit.

            依我看来，夏天没有比游泳是更好的健身方式了。

      5）There is nothing like a good cry to get all your griefs out of your mind.

             去除你心中所有这些悲伤莫过于痛痛快快地哭一吨。

      6）Well, I suppose there is nothing like an occasional setback to make you realize how

             lucky you really are.

             唉，我看什么都不如偶尔让你受点挫折更能使你明白你现在是多么的幸运。

       7）There's nothing like the fresh,sharp pain of a love breakup.

             没有什么比恋爱分手之痛更刻骨铭心了。



●  “远远不如”、“绝对不如”， 用于 nothing like as/so …… as …… 句式中。



      1）The reading comprehension test is nothing like as difficult as you described.

             这篇阅读理解测试更本没有像你说的那么难。

      2）Her cooking is nothing like as good as yours.

　         她做饭的手艺绝比不上你。

      3）His analysis of the poem is nothing like as penetrating as yours.

            他对这首诗的分析远没有你的分析那样透彻

      4）The operation was persformed in half a hour. To my astonishment it was nothing like as

             painful as I had expected，

            手术不到半小时就完成，让我惊讶的是手术更本不像我想的那么痛。

最后这个nothing like as...as...中like和as是个什么关系呢？？？？本来like和as就很烦躁了，又来这个。求大牛解释！
