解题思路：1.contained 141 trillion cubic feet of gas是既定事实故A,C不对。并且A选项分号后的句子不和逻辑。2.B句子没有节奏感。3.E中the gas that represents the estimation of a 66 percent drop from the 410 trillion cubic feet of the agency’s last report是一个完整的句子，故前面应用分号，而且dropd的时态也不正确

我支持2,3,5,6,7,8,9楼的答案。D

但是，D也是相对其他选项来说没有硬伤的一个，如果改成contained gas whose storage is 141 trillion cubic feet就更完美了，这样representing及其后面的a 66 percent drop from the 410 trillion cubic feet就更加合理了。

认为选D。E的主要问题个人认为在于那个 a gas representing...，不是gas代表了drop，gas怎么能表示drop呢，表示drop的是number/amount/figure.
