就是说以前让给对手的市场份额，销售额什么的现在要竞争回来。
因为第一句有“as"

亲，你好像看错了，这个as是第一句子的连词，可是第一个clause之后还是出现了两个主句（按照我错误的理解）

they前面省略了一个that。
the mass market sales (that they would in the past have conceded to rivals) 括号里是sales的定语从句。
