谁说and so不能连用，就因为那道pp题么？？？那解释一定对么，别人对不对一定要靠自己客观思考就清楚了。
so 和 thus是一个意思，但为什么and thus 到处都在用呢？  既然and thus 可以，为什么and so就不连用呢。
实际上是，gmat语法中某道题固定的搭配正确了，在另一道题中可能会是错的。题目不同，答案肯定不同。不能生搬硬套，更不能可笑的怀疑答案有问题（虽然不否认极少极少极少极少数答案是有歧义）
这道题重点不在and so，而在划线的第一个动词restricted。 这题过程是一读下来只剩下最后两个。原文d是 ：一个句子，所以一个过去分词作为结果（restricted修饰前面的青蛙）E是：因为一个句子，所以一个句子。显然E比D好，做完了。
切记，不能生搬硬套，不然会遇到很多反例的，做对做错都是一个概率问题。希望能帮到你！

that之间的语义差别是什么？为什么那道题E中的so that会优于B中的and so?thks~

另外，and so有整体作adv.意为"因此"的意思，这是我在词典里查到的，so此处用法不明，所以我更倾向于上一种解释啦

and therefore/thus可以连用，是因为therefore/thus翻译为因此的时候是adv. , 而so作为连词时才有"因此"的意思，故这里的so作为adv.应该翻译成"确是如此,正是那样"。
再看句意：与普通青蛙..不同，内华达山脉的山蛙需要3-4年成熟，这样的话，它们就被限制在更深的水域...没有歧义吧？
