Berkeley or NYU??

拿到了Berkeley MFE 和 NYU Mathematical Finance，我应该去哪个阿？？？！！！
nyu在数学院里面更适合我，课程很好，也比较学术，班级小30个人，跟老师交流更方便。很多fresh graduate，大家背景都差不多。而且在华尔街旁边。
berkeley名气大，如果工作以后还想读phd的话有berkeley的文凭更方便。西部生活十分舒适。可每年有65个人，人太多了，program好像比较商业化，很多有工作经历的甚至以前学会计的都去。我这人比较喜欢和比较学术的数学好的纯洁的孩子呆在一起。
那我到底应该选哪个？？？？？

p.s.
berkeley对我的要求里面有修pde这一项，我已经修过pde这门课了（课名就叫pde，不是涵盖在其它课之中的），为什么还有这个条件？有谁知道是怎么回事吗？

以后要从商的人需要有自己的判断力，更需要有决断力。我觉得LZ已然有自己的倾向，何必还要如此的犹豫不决呢？

另外，如果你是想获得一些关于两所学校的信息以更好的做出决定，那是不是可以直接找两所学校毕业的校友，找他们的career office更直接有效呢？毕竟CD上的大部分热心同学是没有在UCB/NYU任何一所就读过的呀，何况每个人的出发点不同，只有LZ自己最了解自己。之前有同学说的很好，如果你以后仅仅是想搞编程，那么NYU吧。如果你想扩展你商业领域的人脉，有更多元化的商科背景，去UCB吧。当然，这也只是个人观点。

absolutely, you could find every student's profile on most top programs, wonder why no one addresses the question to them but ask on a public forum where few people have very little insightful information but a lot of stereotyped or untrue views? as an example, nyu is far from a "quant" program, however this is perceived by a number of people here while the program is hosted in a math school.

From the most important to the least important, my biased opinion:

#1. Both are perfect, either one is good enough.
#2. I found Berkeley MFE a great experience: you have the best career service, I can not find a second Linda; your classmates are so experienced and from everywhere in the world as opposed to NYU who are mainly math undergraduates. Knowing them and learning from them are such valuable experience. You will find this diversity a great plus in your life (our program has the age range from 19 to 40+, historically).
#3. Bottom line: you come to Berkeley, you can do whatever you want after graduation.

Q&A:
#1. Why our admission rate is so high?
In my year, for example, among the entire Zhejiang University undergraduates, only me dared to apply.
#2. Why 1y is enough?
Simple, you sleep as half as normal people. No joke.
#3. Location?
If you ever visit SF and NYC, from a happily-living perspective, you know SF is your choice. Earthquake? You forget 9/11?
Noted: I am not talking about working. Of course, I prefer NYC to work.

背景单一不怎么好 多元化才能体现商科的价值，当然纯粹搞搞数学计算的话 倒也无所谓
