Hi Fellow CDer's (particularly to those who are already admitted by Booth):
1. In the PPT essay, I think it will likely be just bullet points on each slide. When I attempted to do it, it felt like I'm writing a mini-resume for that particular activity.... is it right? What should be the focus of those bullet points? - achievements? personal feelings?
2. For the "take a risk" essay, if I talk about I'm making a career choice between A and B...and why I made such choice, how it reflected my values and interests during the thought process... do I have to discuss the "OUTCOME" of taking this risk (or in this particular case, making this career choice?) The outcome is of course unclear yet because it's long-term for career choice....
Comparing this essay against Wharton's "turning down an opportunity", I'm using basically the same story line about I turned down a career opportunity A and chose an opportunity B. Now for Booth's essay, I will focus on why this action is "taking a risk" and what's my thought process.
Does this seem correct to you guys? Or maybe off track?
Thanks! |
