求助: June 2009 Logic Game Q20

2009的题目没有正确分析答案, 结果卡在这里了. 12月12考试,不知道在之前有没有人好心来解答下,拜托了各位

A Charitable foundation awards grants in exactly four areas -- medical services, theater arts, wildlife preservation, and youth services -- each grant being in one of these  areas. One or more grants are awarded in each of the four quarters of a calendar year, over the course of a calendar year, the following must obtain:

-- Grants are awarded in all four areas.
-- No more than six grants are awarded.
-- No grants in the same area are awarded in the same quarter or in consecutive quarters.
-- Exactly two medical services grants are awarded.
-- A wildlife preservation grant is awarded in the second quarter

Q20: If a wildlife preservation grant and a youth services grant are awarded in the same quarter of a paticular calendar year, then any of the following could be true EXCEPT:

(A) A medical services grant is awarded in the second quarter.
(B) A theater arts grant is awarded in the first quarter
(C) A theater arts grant is awarded in the second quarter
(D) A wildlife preservation grant is awarded in the fourth quarter
(E) A youth services grant is awarded in the third quarter






答案是(E) 问题在于,貌似(A)也是对的啊
Q2已经有个W了, 所以WY只可能是2/4. Y=/=3, (E)成立
但是,M必定有两个,当WY=2, M=1+3/4, 当WY=4, M=1+3 两种情况M都=/=2, (A)也成立的?

希望哪位能来解答下,困扰我一个晚上了的说 -.-

Thx mate. I'd forgotten about difference between grants in each quater and total number of grants -.-

Only concerned about 2 grants each, but overlooked the possibility on decent quater can have more than 2 grants, as long as they are following rules above ...

Anyway, finally got rid of it

This question is asking for could be true EXCEPT, so we are looking for a must be false answer.

A is allowed: 1(T) 2 (M, Y, W) 3 (T) 4 (M)

E is not allowed: since WY has to be in 1 if another Y is in 3.  But that would put two W next to each other in both 1 and 2 : 1 (Y, W) 2 (W) 3 (Y)
