18：A肯定不对，不满足最基本的并列结构严格对称的要求。前面so cold根本没有办法和后面的so that从句连接，而且the temperatures are so cold需要和the ice cap is so reflective呼应。B里面were it部分是虚拟的固定用法，没有歧义

前面明确用了复数主语，因此排除CE，不可以用its来做the Shang的所有格指代
