答案是C。

不明白“have increased 5 percent during ”和“after falling”这两个时态的选用。 谢谢！

1）修饰前面整个句子，做结果伴随状语
2）修饰前面的profits
在这一题中两种可能都存在，而如果按第一种解释的话，则会产生歧义，即增加的是什么？可能是profits,也可能是sales or anything else.

刚刚看到一个解释，是说over the last two years，过去的两年是下降的，但是这个下降没有持续到现在，而是在3各月之前就结束了的，所以指的是过去的一个时间段，用过去时，而不用完成时
前面那个during the first month 是最初的3个月，和现在是连在一起的，就是说到现在为止现在个是增长了的。。所以用完成时吧。
自己理解。。

这样子的说法还比较让人容易接受，但是在考试的时候该如何快速判断呢？？ 我一看到 “over 加 大段时间”， 就直接选完成时了。。。

呃~~好混乱，不明白failling 怎么是n.  profits应该是这个动作的发出者吧~

个人认为这个falling只是表示下降的动名词结构，并没有现在时的意思，在此处是作为一个名词来理解
