Hello there,
Well, I’d say your real choice is between JHU and Babson. Forget about Fordham. It’s less good. Now I think you have an interesting choice here, and in your case, your logic for selection should be different than other people. Because you are not going to look for a job afterwards. So prestige, although still important, is less important for you. And what is more important is what you learn and who you meet. You want to be able to run your business as well as possible, and not just come back with a nice diploma. So my suggestion is that you choose based on how the programs are structured. I don’t know this new JHU program well, so I can’t say which one to go to, but think about which program fits your personal needs and your family business needs more. But I should mention that the Babson program is probably more prestigious than JHU and not the other way around. But ultimately, I think you should choose the place which you feel you better fit in.

期待楼主回来分享自己的感受……carey商学院所在的地理位置确实高大上，在Baltimore的Inner Harbour，那片区域也确实相对安全些，街上全天有警察巡逻。我有次去Baltimore面试，住他们家对门的四季。晚上12点后出酒店去附近的CVS买东西，还是满安全的。不过离开一段距离之后就有点瘆的慌了……
另外他们一个二年级的学生说，Carey现在还不是大多数公司的core school。其实就业是一个挑战……不过我认识Carey毕业的同学，有人在美国留下来了，有人就找不到，所以估计还是看人

Thanks so much for your note! Re: UIUC, it’s a strong program which places well across consulting, financial services, consumer products/retail, and manufacturing. Overall, I would recommend it, but you want to ensure it aligns well with your post-MBA goals. Hope this helps!

Thank you Jon for your reply. I am also admitted by the University of Maryland College Park. The major I apply is MBA. Is there a huge discrepancy between UIUC and UMD in terms of the quality of instruction? Because I have to make my final decision, even though I really appreciate both of the schools. Happy to help! Generally, no, there really isn't a major difference in quality of instruction. You will get top faculty and research in both programs, that's for sure! I would say then that the professors and offerings are going to be strong for each school. The only factor you'll want to consider is to review their respective course offerings to see which program is better matched to your post-MBA goals. Hope this helps too!
