标题: LAST-2-4-17

17. Every photograph, because it involves the light rays that something emits hitting film, must in
obvious sense be true. But because it could always have been made to show things differently than
it cannot express the whole truth and, in that sense, is false. Therefore, nothing can ever be definitively proved with a photograph. Which one of the following is an assumption that would permit the conclusion above to be properly

(A) Whatever is false in the sense that it cannot express the whole truth cannot furnish definitive proof.

(B) The whole truth cannot be known.

(C) It is not possible to determine the truthfulness of a photograph in any sense.

(D) It is possible to use a photograph as corroborative evidence if there is additional evidence establishing the truth about the scene photographed.

(E) If something is being photographed, then it is possible to prove definitively the truth about it.

不好意思的说,我题目没有看明白。觉得好绕。

原文推理是:因为photograph不能 express the whole truth ,所以nothing can  be definitively proved with a photograph。A将这个GAP连起来。

17. Every photograph, because it involves the light rays that something emits hitting film, must ino ...

If a photo involves the light ray emitting hitting firm, that photo must be true that it is in obvious sense,

If it is not in obvious sense, photo does not involves the light ray emitting hitting firm

if a photo could always have been made to show things different than it can't not express, the whole truth is false

*The whole truth is correct only if it is not always have been made to show things different than it can't not express.

-If it can ever be definitely proved, it must not be photograph

If it is photograph ---> it can never be definitely proved

P1. Conditional Statement:
Photograph ---> Is True

P2. Conditional Statement??
Photograph  ---> Cannot Express Whole Truth  ---> Is False
A  ---> B

C: Conditional Statement???
Photograph --->  Nothing can ever be definitely proved with it
A ---> C

Justify formula: I need B ---> C
If something is False, then nothing can ever be can be definitively proved with it. This sort of agrees with answer choice A.
