标题: Exam Pack 2 - 一道新CR题 Vebrol Corp
Many of Vebrol Corporation's department heads Will retire this year. The number of employees with the qualifications Vebrol Will require for promotion to department head is equal to only half the expected vacancies. Vebrol is not going to hire department heads from outside the company, have current department heads take over more than one department, or reduce the number of its departments. So some departments Will be without department heads next year, since Vebrol Will not__________________________

A) promote more than one employee from any department to serve as heads of departments ( not promoting more than one, but you can still fill in 50% because of their qualifications.)
B) promote any current department heads to higher-level managerial positions
C) have any managers Who are currently senior to department heads serve as department heads
D) reduce the responsibilities of each department
E) reduce the average number of employees per department

哪位大神给我解释一下A 为什么错？正确答案是C
结合原题解释复合升值条件的员工只能填满空缺的一半，即便是每个组都找出比一个人还多去当这个department head 最后是剩下一半空缺没有被填满？
谁可以纠正一下我的逻辑？

A后面的括号是原来就有的吗？我觉得LZ的逻辑没问题，前提说了满足条件的只有一半，那就是6个组的话，满足条件的只有3个，每一组都提升超过1个是什么鬼...
不过C肯定对，因为比department heads 更senior的人肯定能满足要求。

谢谢解答 A选项括号里的是我自己加的我的理解
我明白C是对的就是不明白为什么A是错的
假设现在一共有10个 department 有四个department head要退休，现在现有人才只能填补其中两个空缺
这个是我从题里理解的
我对A的理解是 V公司不会在每一个department里提升超过一个人，如果在10个department里面都找了一个人，但是现有的人才中只有两个是合格的，也就只有这两个人才可以被提升，所以这道题与A无关。
但是接着在想，就算是只有两个人可以被提升但是有两个空缺啊这个选项不是间接支持的原题的论点了么？是我想太多了么

需要明确的是题干里已经说明了条件：符合晋升条件（with qualification）的人只有空缺职位的一半。
A：即使一个部门可以提拔>1人，但仍然不会提拔没有qualification的人，所以总数上仍然还有一半的heads没有人可以担当。

這題的方向應該是假設題。所以要按假設題的思路「讓論點成立的必要條件」去思考。A選項比較像是加強題的選項。

这种题不是加强题么？难道是assumption type? 这种空白题怎么才能知道是那种体型啊？
我可以分清 inference 和 strengthen, 从来没听说过这种fill in the blank 还可以是assumption type？
求解释？

since內子句做結論的構建理由，而不是結論已構成後的額外證據。所以是假設。對了，填空這種類型裡還有解釋題喔。
