标题: 跪求学长学姐解释CMU的background check是怎么回事~
看到CMU MSIM项目的官网上说接受offer后会受到background check
有没有在cmu的学长学姐可以详细解释一下是怎么回事呀~
他查是会怎么查呢？
只是电话向相关人核实还是说甚至要提交一些例如编制、工资单之类的文件？
做过短期实习并没有这么完善的手续害怕写到cv和ps里到时候被核实会出问题的所以申请前想问问清楚~

Hey there!
So all schools pretty much use one company “Krolls” or a similar service for background checks. Basically when they do a background check they can telephone or do independent research to make sure that everything you wrote is true. IF you have wrote everything as it was, you have little to worry about. Meaning there doesn’t have to be “proof” of everything. But there shouldn’t be any discrepancies between what you wrote and how it is,

背景调查公司的工作人员会拿着你的申请材料，把所有相关的人员信息列出来，坐飞机从美国飞到中国，然后逐一核实，请他们喝茶跟他们聊天，一条一条的过。
然后，学校付给背景调查公司100美元的服务费。
