很多出国的人都不坦率，因为他们被学校坑了之后，为了手中这张文凭的含金量，打掉牙往肚子里面咽。不肯说一句真话，今天楼主我就实话实说，向出国党讲明真相。就算是以后雇主都看到这个帖子，让我找不到工作，我也乐意！！教育部要是看到这个，不承认这个学校的文凭，那就再好不过了！！
我已经完蛋了，不能看着大家也完蛋。大不了我再申请一个北美的项目。

新加坡这个国家的人，根本就不会说一句实话！！！他们说他们的教育非常好，其实都是骗人的。别的学科不敢说，商科教出来的都是傻逼。。我在这边某BB实习，front office里面的刚毕业的那群Analyst，什么都不会！！！

QF和GF还好，毕竟能在英国/美国呆一个学期。GF还会给一个WUSTL的学位。

因为当时管大的系主任到我们学校招生，当时说的都很好。而且管大可以安排六个月的实习签证。。
现在楼主之所以还能活着吐槽而不是跳楼真心多亏这个实习签证。。。自己找了个BB的front office...每天只要不去学校的话，在公司还是很开心的。。。。

definitely rubbish,
in SG, the reputation of masters is almost the same between SMU, NTU and NUS. in finance , we have learned the no-arbitrage theorem, which means, if one program is rubbish, other programs with similar reputation is almost all rubbish.
BTW, the NUS MFE is a part-time one(all classes are set on night and weekends), we know that MFE is a very technical program, even learning full time can not fully understand.How can we expect for a part-time version.
But after all, I believe it is better than SMU. Cause SMU I think is the most rubbish university in the World!!!
Sorry,for using English. But my com in office can not typing Chinese.

My personal suggestion is IC FA, my director graduates from it. You can never imagine how great reputation it is in SG. In SG, people looks Edinburgh as IVY League level.

Some people says the degree of WUSTL in that program is not recognized in China.If so, I don't think it is a good try. Cause you pay lots of many, just buy a SMU's master degree. Which you can buy it cheaper if you just join the MAF program.
If the degree is recognized, I have to say it is a good program, since the entry requirement is lower than WUSTL itself. Which is an arbitrage.

Actually not , I hold both offer from Edin and Warwick last year. When I tell that to my Manager, he become very surprised that I give up my Edin offer. But he dont think warwick is a better university than SMU.

从WUSTL进这个GMF其实并不容易，如果真选了去SMU岂不是亏惨了...大部分时间都在新加坡度过。还好我没选新加坡的哈哈

I think it has good reputation in China.Maybe even better than its reputation in UK.
I have not come to Warwick which I could last year , so I am really regret about my choice.
But actually, what I am really regret about is just coming to Singapore. Even you give me a rubbish university like Glasgow now, I would come without any hesitation.

It depends, SG is very strange. Cause it is too small. You can see students from one class both come to Goldman, or Working for AIA, selling insurance.
SMU's local students can find any position(From 8,000 to 2,900 per month). But for foreigners, the working environment is really tough in SG now.
If you ask me Can? I have to say, yes, you can cause anything is possible. If you ask me the possibility, the only I can tell you 'it is higher than UK/EU, but lower than JP/US/CA/HK'.

Glasgow may not be so bad...
about the reputation in China, to be honest, I am always wondering whether studying Master's in Warwick will be greatly helpful for me to find a job in China....
(better if I manage to get an offer in UK)

Glasgow is not bad.. Even it is bad, it is 1000 times better than Singapore.
At least you can play happily in Glasgow. Even through it teach you nothing.
'greatly helpful ' it wont, but helpful ,it should.
Only GREAT programs can GREATLY HELPFUL, those programs need GREAT BG.
Warwick? to far away from it.

Need to work from 7am to 9pm a day.

u can search at linkedin. Cause since I dont like SMU, so I never join any activity related to alumni.
But noticed that MAF program is organizing its career service team aiming China. Which mights shows their students can not find jobs in SG.
BTW, only MPA, MITB, MBA, and MWM is allowed to take a full-time intern. Other programs could only take maximize 16 hours per week part-time internship legally.

为什么我觉得项目还是很有价值的诶…smu+BB实习回国应该比厦大中大硕+券商实习厉害一点吧(毕竟BB)，可smu这个项目达到厦大中大前30％保研党水平的应该很少吧

I want to know how you can get a BB intern, coz...SG economy is too terrible. maybe SMU career services are much better than NUS, haha. Now, I am taking NUS master.
