请问什么情况下and接连的两个并列分句要用逗号将两句子隔开?

感觉结构很怪异啊，如果去掉and

这个句子不完整啊 therefore是副词，不是连词不能连接两个句子的

D. 欧认为还是要在 and 前家逗号的。and 可以连接简单的并列句，

如 She didn't speak to anyone and nobody spoke to her.  [Longman]

但是，"comma is required before  AND in larger compound sentences"  OG-179.

该题的这个句子可是复合句呀。

可以看出enemy's new ship is the quietest submarine

但是D中不论逗号是否补出，结果都是 enemy's new ship is the quietsest (ship).

所以D的写法本身就改变了句意了。
