条形图的纵坐标是在当年买的新车运行10，000英里时平均每英里的运行成本，从图中可以看出微型汽车（图中的实心黑色条）在1982年每英里的运行成本是0.34美元，所以其10，000英里的平均成本是3，400美元。

从图中可以看出在1984年开一辆微型汽车每英里的平均成本是0.36美元，而开一辆中型汽车每英里的平均成本是0.48美元。根据题意可得：（0.48-0.36）/0.48=25%
D
从图中可以看出微型汽车的平均每英里成本从1982年到1986年是呈逐年增加之势，而小型汽车的成本则在0.45美元附近，他们之间差值在1982年最大，大约为0.12美元，在1984或1985年最小，大约为0.06美元
