People who develop different kinds of skills are more successful than people who focus on one skill only.
1. 语言skill 对我来说 2. skill多更加吸引人 机会更多
There is little doubt that the better choice would be falling into the fact that people with varieties of skills would be more successful. I have to admit that a man who is expert in one skill would make his work more efficient and then get easy access to the success, but for me, sometimes, different kinds of skills underlying in the daily life are embedded in the others’ minds and bring me many opportunities.
First of all, it is usually common sense that a man who shows great skill at telling story, lecturing, playing different kind of instruments and so on, are more attractive and charming and can express his thinking more explicit. Then, you hope to him, get acquaint with him and make friend with him. Therefore, this man would have a large number of human resources. In other word, many opportunities are available for him. For example, Obama, the first Black president in the America’s history, is famous for his ability to perform a fascinating lecture. Without the aid of his awesome lecture, he can not receive a minority vote and win the battle of the second term.
Equal meaningful the point is that, if you study many skills and become adapt in it, you would be eligible for a job or to acquire a better education. Set me as an example: I am a student in China and major in business management. What I dream about is studying abroad for a preferable education environment and for an advanced management and operation techniques. In order to study abroad, I must learn the second language and be fluent in English so that I can survive first, after that, understand the content of class and express my thinking explicit. Therefore, only if I master the second language, the dreams I make in the day and night could take a first step.
Admittedly, more skills can benefit us a lot, but when focusing on a skill only, a man will be more careful about the trap and make a perfect job as possible as he can. Therefore, he may be stand on the top of his area one day and receive admiring glances.
In conclusion, although being adept in one skill would achieve some extraordinary results, a man can not spare no efforts to keep it until he succeed. However, compared with one skill, more skills can enable to a man to have a better prospect, gain more opportunities and qualify him to achieve the goal. Therefore, the more skills a man has, the more success he will achieve.
