有没有大神可以帮忙看下整道题，还想问下如果遇到这样的题应该从哪里入手比较快可以解决？

读完题干后，我第一反应是A不好，trick后面介绍了它的内容。for enabling在这里说不通。trick是为了证明前面的从句的，而不是为了证明后面的内容。had added时态也不对。
我会得出一个想法，用that修饰 trick比较符合题意。直接看其余四选项，that enables符合我的预期，that will enable 用将来时解释内容，不好。但我觉得还可以在看看D/E两选项。

两个选项都没有继续使用A中的错误用法had added，而是采用了might add。
D/E中，are private和had been private，解释illusion这个概念，那么用一般现在时肯定比过去完成时好。
这样我直接选择了D。

如果楼主没发现for enabling这点，可以保留A。
看B，发现了who had still been harboring和A中的who still harbored不同，再扫一眼其他选项，都有区别。可以判定这是一个split点，那么就立即着手进行分析。
A. who still harbored，这个时态对吗？明显不对，既然他们过去持有这个幻觉，而现在没有了，a watchdog group 还去做什么trick呢？排除
B. who had still been harboring，过去完成进行时，更诡异的时态了，立即排除
C. who still were harboring，过去进行时，人们会只在某一个过去时间点有幻觉吗？不会，排除
D/E. still harboring，harboring作定语修饰those，消除了时态的不规则性，很好。保留它俩。

接着看D/E的其他split点，will be 和 was。

that enables，will be 主句是一般现在时，so that用将来时表目的，没问题，保留
that will enable，was 主句是一般将来时，so that用过去时表目的，那是不可能的，排除。

因此，只有D才正确。

快速的方法就是找出你能迅速排除的Split点，一一比对，选出正确的答案。
