E中的being应该是导致wordy的原因，indirect的话，个人认为是being relatively simple and static是修饰genes，不如genes were relatively simple and static显得直接而简洁。
其次的话是Even with，个人感觉是改变了作者想要对比的tone吧，应该是虽然。。，但是B。。；但是E的话改成了“与。。。一样，B。。。“
convinced of结构估计也存在问题，但是我说不上来。等大家指导。

我一开始也觉得是even with没有虽然的意思但是可不可以理解成even+一个介词结构呢

E选项用Even with 在这里没有体现作者想要表达对比或转折的意思，being 显然不如从句表达来的直接。

应该不行吧，even with自身是一个固定搭配。如果可以的话，那么even在句中的作用什么呢？
忽略了even的问题，如果是可以with的介词结构的话，那么就成了独立主格，就成了伴随状语了。(这部分不知道怎么往下说了）

even with 没有这个说法吧一般来说在句首是even if eventhough 或with 两个加在一起不是很wordy吗
