我的问题是while willing is grammatically incomplete? 刘振民语法第137页明明说："while 还有一种用法是 while + 动词ｉｎｇ，使现在分词短语与主句的动作形成强烈的对比关系，可译为 同时...却..."

这里不但缺少 they are, 而且前后对称不公整。

还是觉得不对。LZM语法说

When, while, if, though, until, once, whether, unless, no matter, therefore, 等引导的从句中谓动为be, 而主语又同主句的主语相同所，从句中的be 和主语通常省略。

为什么这里的while 省略结构错了？
