D．其他错我明白。。但是为什么to touch 和 (to)activate 是并列。。。不是应该是touch这个动作导致 activate 吗。。并列我觉得所不通

这题B对但是我选了A。这里thereby 后面是不是也可以和上面那题一起看成省略了by. (by) boosting
这两道GWD 的题thereby 后面都是表示前一个动作带来的结果 1） touch带来的结果 2）stimulatedemand 带来的结果。。所以我觉得如果第一题正确答案是C这题正确答案也一定要是A。
BTW，第二题的demand 的被动看得有点不爽 becauseof + ving 是错的啊！！！
