恩。虽然不是高人～我来试着解释一下～
这句话的意思是说像（巴拉巴拉的）那些草场一样，sandpipers这种鸟本身也正在绝迹是受到巴拉巴拉的影响之类的。
就是说草场也在绝迹，鸟也在绝迹。比较的是这个。
是的，乍一看这道题觉得没有平行的对象，因为我们总是潜意识认为like所比较的两个东西应该是同一类的，这里的关键在于itself这个词。itself事实上是提醒了我们，比较的并不是同一类的两个事物。所以句子说鸟的本身而不是单纯的说鸟怎么样。恩。从这里就可以看出，语义是很重要的。如果完全读懂了句子，辅以语法，会发现正确答案马上就出来了。
