下题答案选了C。说“its acoustic energy"+"prevented" 做了独立主格。我当时觉得句子run-on,所以直接排除了c,d。想问一下，大家还碰见过类似的句子么？能post一下吗？不胜感激！

run-on是两个不同主语的独立句子，这个句子这有sound一个主语，its acoustic...就像你说的是独立主格，不是一个完整句子~所以不存在run-on
