答案是D，可是E选项错在哪里呢？求解

E use the confusing and unparallel “what they did” instead of “those”.

C. twice what it was in
D. two times faster than that of

答案是C，请问为什么不是B，还有D如果改为twice faster than that of 是否也是正确表达

B:If the rate is twice, it is obviously fast. Hence presence of both twice and fast is redundant.
E: The rate is a speed, so we have to use greater/lesser.
"twice faster than that of "说的是三倍，改变了原句的意思。原句是说两倍。
