导致题目都做错

no ,
they are not the same , although both are assumption,
A defender has some symbols in the multiple choices, but before recognizing them, i always mix defender with supporter and make the wrong choice.

SUPPORTER IS TO FIND A GAP BETWEEN THE PREMISE OFAN ARGUMENT AND THE CONCLUSION
DEFENDER, ON THE OTHER HAND, IS TO RULE OUT ANY POINT THAT MAY WEAKEN THE ARGUMENT.

By your definition, the first is simply to find an assumption. The second, on the other hand, is never to be found. How could you rule out ALL weakening points?

supporter: 是连接新信息
比方： All male citizen of Athen had the right to vote.Therefore,Socrates had the right to vote.
这里连接新信息，就是Socrates was a male citizen of Athen。

Defender：是eliminating ideas that could weaken the argument.
