关于一个指代的问题。。快疯了求助

前面有多个复数名词后面用THEY,THOSE 行吗，，，为什么有时候答案说是指代不清，，但有时候又可以是就近指代逻辑指代的，，，，这到底怎么判断啊。。。求助 -

比如这题？我觉得按照逻辑看A中的THEIR就是指代犀牛嘛，，不很明显吗为什么说指代不清呀。。。

指代是个很复杂的情况，所做题就有感觉了。。。
简单来说，1、指代要就近，2、只能指代中心词，3、不能指代介宾、动宾分裂结构中的宾语，4、which不能指代遥远的名词，5、that可以优先指代主语，etc。。。。。
跟你说了估计你也没有概念，多做做题吧，上述规律都不是绝对的，要看语境。所以真的很难讲。。。。

答案C很明显但E选项注解说THEY指代不清，，，，，我想说为什么啊。。。。这里THEY不就EMPLOYERS吗，，，，逻辑上就是呀，，，为什么不清了。。。求指点啊，，，DRIVING ME NUTS。。。

如果一句话里有多个不同的单数或复数名词，在之后出现代词的情况下，一般都是不好的选项；名词优于代词，表达清晰。

指代优先中有就近优先和主语优先两个原则，如果同时出现，则会出现两个相同的优先级，出现歧义

E的话such用错了。还有they可以指代employees...

先恭喜你能遇见这么幸运的题，

代词指代是个effectiveness问题，
1.代不了主语的时候，2、代不了主语，又没明显暗示指代的情况下，
代词就再也清晰不了啦

遇到这种题，开始我也郁闷，
但是现在特别特别特别高兴了，因为它告诉了一个很重要的规律：哪些effectiveness考点该在“代词指代不清”之前排除！

A representative （主）……contends 谓语 + that引导的宾语从句 employers +who 引导的定语从句 offer benefit + which 引导的定语从句 permit + that 引导的宾语从句+can balance ……，+realizing…recruiting, and retention。
画线部分从which开始。

从句子结构中就可以发现A 选项中第一that引导的从句缺少谓语，所以排除选项A和D

E 选项中，they除了指代employees，还可以指代employers，所以排除。

剩下的B C 选项中排除。

permit ……to 固定搭配。所以选择 C

个人认为是这样的。

关于第一题，因为之前的句子里有两个复数名词。
tourists 和rhinoceroses ，出现their 就会让人困惑到底是指代哪个。所以说这个选项是错的。
