continue本身是很少很少用进行时的..例外比如continuing education/study...

continue的搭配：很多...基本上都可以除了从句...

doing in the phrase continue doing something is a  a present particle not a gerund ...

may cause some misunderstanding... my mistake..

谢谢 大家继续 但还是觉得答案B有问题 看见in spite of 就不爽

我看着也不爽，但是最近一直在检讨自己做SC的固化思维，in spite of 就是错也只是个相对错误，而做题首先要考虑绝对错误的说。

continue用法：自身不能用进行时态，但搭配：continue to do & continue doing 都对

C中的return & back 重复，属于绝对错误

B中 in spite of 后面接的是个名词，我认为只要 in spite of 后面接的是个简单的名词，就不能把它排除成错误选项，如果后面跟动名词什么的就可以排除了，再者，对于in spite of & although 的优选问题就是题目分析的最后一步，在没有其他任何错误的情况下才可以排除
