刚开始准备第一次发帖，望各位大大指点~OG12版第691页第14题的E选项
Sunspots, vortices of gas associated with strong electromagnetic activity, are visible as dark spots on the surface of the Sun but have never been sighted on the Sun's poles or equator.

A选项是正确选项
E选项是 appear as dark spots on the Sun's surface, which have never been sighted on

我感觉E也还不错。。个人感觉一个appear可能没有visible好，请教有没有这种规则？
另外which是不是不可以作这么远的修饰。

OG上给出的解释是，This phrasing makes the sentence somewhat awkward and unclear. 不是很理解~

这道题你就记住就好了，慢慢当你接触到OG10，OG11和GWD后会发现这道题即使GMAC的答案也前后不一致，我记得好像OG10就选择的不是A而是那个on the surface 和in the Sun's poles or equator的选项
