212.(GWD-10-Q1)According to a survey of graduating medical students conducted by the Association of American Medical Colleges, minority graduates are nearly four times more likely than are other graduates in planning to practice in socioeconomically deprived areas.

A.minority graduates are nearly four times more likely than are other graduates in planning to practice

B.minority graduates are nearly four times more likely than other graduates who plan on practicing

C.minority graduates are nearly four times as likely as other graduates to plan on practicing

D.it is nearly four times more likely that minority graduates rather than other graduates will plan to practice(C)

E.it is nearly four times as likely for minority graduates than other graduates to plan to practice

答案选C我用排除没有问题，但是我的问题是four times as...as貌似是原来的四倍，而four times more... than貌似是原文五倍，这个替换改变了原文意思。
gemj前辈的帖子我也看了，但是还是不是很清楚为什么这里替换就可以了呢？

希望各位兄弟姐妹给点意见。

nope, they are the same, both meaning "四倍".

好吧，我一直以为as...as...与more...than...的倍数是不同的。

more than 跟 as as 怎么会是一样的呢??
