弱问一下这个语法题

为什么A选项中的  “  's  ” 不能指代前面的face啊 body啊     答案是B    谢谢啦

还是比较对象吧  face of the statue 和 mother's不能比较  body和 his wife's 不能比较    face of the statue要和 that of his mother's 比较   and body (of the statue) 和 that his wife's 比较 这个比较绕
                                                                                                                                                        整理下其实就是 statue's face 和 his mother's face比较  statue’s body 和 his wife's body比较

口语中可能要求没有这么严格 但GMAT可是严格的书面语法哦~~
不过话说 考试中选还真是难以抉择
