白勇语法书关于并列结构省略的解释和后面的例子矛盾，plz help!!thx~

发现白勇语法书里面两个地方自相矛盾，不明白。。大家帮忙阿~~~

1)p12页原文如下：
“两个句子并列，第一个句子含有be动词或者become，第二个句子中的be动词或者become必须省略，同时，一些重复的名词或者形容词也必须省略。
例如：Once the eonomic and social usefulness of the motor car was demonstrated and its superiority to the horse proved,...(proved前省略了was)　”

但是，在本书的p128页例18给出的答案却不是这样的：
18.Once the eonomic and social usefulness of the motor car was demonstrated and with its superiority to the horse being proved, much of the early hostility to it in rural regions disappeared.
A.and with its superiority to the horse being
B.and its superiority over the horse had been
C.and its superiority to the horse (和12页那句话完全一样阿)
D.its superiority over the horse
E.with its superiority to the horse having been
答案是B！不是C！

给的解释是说C选项and链接once从句和名词短语its superiority,两者形式不对称。可是12页明明写的就是C那句话，还说是省略阿。。。。到底哪个对，plz help me~~ thx!!

你搜搜讨论帖吧，应该有的。。这题我觉得选C。

这题应该选B

be动词在这句里面，我认为是不能省略的。比如 A be done and(be)done,第二个be是可以省略的，因为大家都能理解，不会产生歧义。而本题C里，第二句话的主语和前面的主语不一致，不省略反而更好。

这题B的过去完成时也解释的通，因为once意思为一旦，表示的意思有时间的先后
