1. 即使 D the size 和 a land area 比较对象不对等，应用that、E中but a population of only .....,many of whom 是什么什么句子结构？but与什么平行？

D有几个问题 1.land要和land比，不要和size比较。  2.Laos has 4 million of population。这里的4 million其实是 用数量表示的代词，但是 没有可以指代对对象。要这么用：比如前面说：Laos has XXX people,   4 million Blablabla...  这样 4 million就可以指代 people,或者看成 4 million people的省略。

同样的问题是 Many也没有指代对象。  他们都不可能去指代 population的。。。。。只能指代 people

E是省略结构, Laos has a area....but (has) a population of....

many of whom，可以给你两个解释，OG上说 Many of whom, one of whom这样的结构是同位结构。（没错，og上这么说的）

不过我一般理解成 定语从句。
