我刚刚查了字典，没找到ＡＳ做连词连接介词短语的内容，请问就这个知识点哪有较为详细的讲解呢？我还是没有彻底领悟感觉　　ＴＨＡＮＫＳ　Ａ　ＬＯＴ

the complete clause should be "as it does in much of eastern europe", while "it does" is omitted in this case.
