问一个关于现在完成时却用了非延续性动词的问题。OG10-90

选D不难理解，知道见了since就要拿完成时出来。纠结的是have begun这样的非延续性动词怎么用了完成时？ GMAT里面是否允许这种用法？请指教。

正在想这道题，想到一个可能的解释
一般began是一件事情的开始，是非延续性的
但是这里是several corporations，许多家的公司就可以做到在一个时间段内陆续的have begun
不然题目也不会用since 1986来描述时间，而该用In 1986

“许多家的公司就可以做到在一个时间段内陆续的have begun” 也就是说因为有很多公司，所以在一段时间内开始投资就用了 have beun??
还是不大懂

我后来又想了想，看到OG12 7 有个has become..的例子，觉得7楼有道理。
贴上曼哈顿的解释（excel千行）
国外instructor对于那里为什么要采用现在完成时，说得真有道理

one event that occured in the past is being compared to all the events that have occured till now.

So the past event is denoted with a simple past . This past event (ie. one specific event that has occured in the past- that event that got 12 million immigrants) is compared to all the events until now( ie. all the events in the past and all the events till now. so what tense is needed for an event has started in the past and is applicable even today? That is the reason why we denote all the other events in the present perfect!)

so, the present perfect is appropriate here, if the sentence wishes to (1) imply that there could reasonably be more waves of migration, or (2) emphasize the continuing impact that those waves have on today's world. at least the second of these is definitely happening in the sentence at hand.

哎~~这坟挖的真是…………我当年居然还能说出“非延续性动词”这么有内涵的话~~~现在真心完全不记得了
