they said in the initial confirmation email that it woule take them ~3 weeks for them to review your material and grant you interview. However in their website it says that the decision deadline is just one month away from the submittion deadline.... I have no idea how could they interview people and then make decisions in 1-2 weeks.... seems so rush to me

不会，人家说了，你要是认为杜克是你的最爱，就报R E。呵呵，估计报的人也不会多。录取就交3000美元呢。

建议写封信问下吧。duke的招生人员感觉还是很热情的。我因为面试的问题跟他们联系，回信都算是比较快的，虽然我还没submit申请......
