正确答案是E, 我选的A。我觉得Black American 应该用复数，因为跟的是novels，还有搞不明白破折号后面是修饰离最近的名词，还是主语呢？

这里的the others应该是做独立主格吧....所以破折号后面的句子修饰的是the others(另外两部小说)..我是这么理解的。.

用a black American修饰感觉更加明确...原文是用被动语态修饰novels的特征...这些小说的作者分别只有一个..而用 Americans会造成很多人写一部novel的歧义..
