their显然用来指代imbalances,可是imbalances是所有格

有条语法规则是 所有格不能拿来指代的 是不是又要灵活掌握了？ 如何灵活使用，请高手指点～

我是以be likely to be固定惯用出发

再来看是否有不必要的指代

但五个选项都用their你没的挑

所以就confirm答案了,不要再争扎下去

但你的精神令人敬偑…….
            

答案确定是E

关于所有格被指代的另外一个例子

A和E中的that和it都是指代a new type of jet engine中的engine

其实我不是挣扎，我是被很多“所谓的绝对性错误”害的比较惨
比如，当我刚知道所有格不能被指代的时候，高兴的认为又有一个新的办法来排除选项了。但通过这道题，又要从新看这个问题了

另外，likely to 确实比likely that简洁，但是不能以此排除选项
