答案说是b，说c改变原句意思，但是where从句根据常理应该是修饰polar regions的吧。。。。。。snow就是在polar regions accumulates的吧（虽说glaciers的适宜环境是cool and moist latitudes也不怎么合理）

看看后面说的是什么：where there is abundant precipitation足够的雨水怎么会是修饰the could,dry polar regions的呢~ 而修饰the cool, moist middle latitudes就非常合适了。

这里考的是就近修饰的问题。lz可能是没有看懂句子的意思，现在gmac越来越倾向于根据句意选择合适的句子结构了。
